Bobblehaus presents: THE NIGHT MARKET by Kaarina Chu Mackenzie

To celebrate AAPI Heritage Month, Bobblehaus invites you to experience THE NIGHT MARKET: an art show embracing the beauty in chaos of where artist Kaarina Chu Mackenzie finds home. Exclusively curated by Bobblehaus.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 3, 6-8pm

WHERE: Bobblehaus 180 Orchard St

Kaarina Chu Mackenzie is a Taiwanese-American artist based out of Woodstock, NY. Born in the States but raised in Beijing, Kaarina’s work explores themes of transcultural identity through vibrant, textural large scale oil paintings inspired by her photography. The scenes Kaarina paints are fleeting moments capturing the candid and shared human experience that transcends cultural boundaries. The beauty of the Night Market is that it is for everyone; it is a sacred, shared space celebrating people, food, culture, art and life.
