Join us for an all levels hip-hop dance class taught by experienced dancer, teacher, and choreographer, DJ McIver. No experience needed; all are welcome.

DJ McIver (they/them) is a queer dancer/artist living in Sunnyside queens. DJ moved to the city in 2010 and began teaching at I LOVE DANCE, a k-pop dance studio, in 2014. They began teaching hip hop in the New York area in 2015. With I LOVE DANCE, DJ has performed kpop all over the world. In 2019, they competed as a dancer on JTBC's Stage K in Seoul, South Korea. Winning the second episode of the competition series, DJ performed with iKON, the group's biggest song "Love Scenario." DJ and their teammates returned a month later for the season finale. Post-pandemic, DJ is focused on teaching hip hop classes in the city, spreading great energy and giving good fundamentals. Follow them at @mzdjmcive.
